About NE Chinese Restaurant
Located at 2620 N High St, Columbus, OH 43202, NE Chinese Restaurant operates as a chinese restaurant serving Columbus in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach NE Chinese Restaurant at (614) 725-0880; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 446 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Columbus and suggests consistent service.
Columbus is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Columbus follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Favorite restaurant in the city as a long-time resident. The quality of the food is always great and they offer unique authentic dishes you can't find at the more commonly seen style of Chinese restaurant. Definitely check out the chef's recommendation/specialty menus. My personal faves: Fern root noodles, spicy potato salad, fried eggplant with garlic sauce, spicy twice cooked fish, specialty pancake soup for two- the porkbelly and egg version, and ginger fried pork!

We went to the Ace of Cups to watch a performance by Galactic Empire yesterday and we're hungry so we went across the street to Northeast Chinese restaurant. This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. The portions are huge, the price is good and the staff very friendly. I recommended anybody traveling through Columbus that might want some good Chinese food, to look this place up and go there and eat.

We stopped by Ohio State University and discovered that this restaurant is quite famous, so we decided to give it a try. The Chinese food here is truly authentic, and I thoroughly enjoyed the dish I ordered. However, I must say that the American Chinese food is not as good as I had hoped. My fiancΓ© ordered the pineapple chicken, but there was no pineapple at all in the chicken. The service here was also quite disappointing.

Quick Review: Not an expert on authenticity, but hit all my Chinese food cravings! Definitely coming back. Want to try the fried pork chop with ginger sweet sauce. Details: Atmosphere: When you walk in, the vibe gives off family owned Chinese joint. Nothing fancy, but thatβs honestly a good sign for me coming from NY. Service: Everyone was nice and attentive to order. Water cup was never not full haha. Food: Cumin Lamb *Overall Score (4/5) **Spicy Scale (2/5), Big Eater approved: Without a doubt the dish had a strong cumin punch. Lamb was tender and not too gamey (prob from the cumin). Perfect bite size pieces and seasoned perfect to be accompanied by noodles/rice. Decent portion of lightly cooked vegetables. Vegetables were lightly cooked, so great if you like that crunch. Singaporean Noodles *Overall Score (3/5) **Spicy Scale (0/5), Big Eater approved, want to try something else: Thin noodle stir fry. Well seasoned, but definitely made to eat with other dishes. Eggs and chicken were moist. Not excessively oily, in case yall were worried. Mala Green Beans *Overall Score (5/5) **Spicy Scale (1/5), Big Eater approved, would order everytime: One of my favorite Chinese green bean di

One of my friends really likes this authentic Chinese restaurant. I also like some of their items. I feel their dishes taste good and some are impressive. But the quality of dishes is unstable. Sometimes, the food tastes bland with too much oil. Service is sometimes slow, because they usually cook a large size of dish. WiFi is fast. Recommend their signature Chinese ribs pancakes pot and beef cold noodle. The Chinese pancakes taste amazing with the rib broth. The cold noodle during summer is authentic and refreshing. The Mala dry hotpot stir is also authentic and flavorful.
